MMT

MMT SUMMARY
Malaysia pioneered the development of high-tech motorsport infrastructures to host F1 and project a positive global image for the nation. This innovation has been an outstanding success and many nations have followed. At the time of Sepang’s construction there were only a handful of circuits across Asia and just one regional championship; today there are 25-world class motorsport facilities and seven F1 Asian Grands Prix events on the World Championship calendar. Meritus has over 27 years of experience and knowledge in the motorsport industry and our roots are firmly established in the design and manufacturing industry. The technology and the resources currently exist in Malaysia to provide formula cars to the expanding motorsport industry throughout the region; the Meritus MMT division is set to embark on a mission to create an Asian Autosport Brand.

MMT VISON
Our vision is to ‘make Asian Motorsport into a Malaysian Industry’, targeting the development of Asian championships over the next 3 to 4 years, our longer terms plans are to focus on competitive championship series with 3-year replacement cycles.

MMT MISSION
Is to create world-class motorsport ‘technical design center’ in Malaysia. We are focusing on the introduction of MMT200 and MMT400 models as replacements for current Asian series. Our longer-term mission is to develop Malaysian IP rights and patients, providing F1 technology, products & services.

MMT OBJECTIVES
1. 2012: Design and prototype our first MMT400 series model.
2. 2013: Design and prototype our junior formula car, the MMT200. Test, develop and prove both the MMT200 and 400 series model.
3. 2014: Produce 30 models of each of the MMT200 and MMT400 as the sole make suppliers for two new Asian formulae series in 2014.
