Queenslander Joshua Smith, like most young racers, commenced his career in karting. He transitioned to Formula 4 Australia and contested most of the Formula 4 South East Asia in 2019 including rounds at Sepang and Buriram where he was consistently on the podium. In Buriram he took the event champion title. With amazing talent, this up-and-coming Australian racer has the support of his family and proved his international pedigree by winning in the F4 SEA.
FIA Formula 4 SEA On Track for 2020 Start
As worldwide movement control orders relax, Formula 4 Southeast Asia will soon announce a shortened 2020 race calendar with all events to be staged at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. The official announcement is pending approval of the FIA and will be posted on the formula4.asia website and social media, and listed on FIA.com.
