Elias wins race 20 and event 5!

The fifth event in the 10 event 40 race 2019 Formula 4 south East Asia Championship came to a close with Elias Seppanen winning the final race and the weekend. He just beat out Shihab Al Habsi for the top spot, winning three races and dominating the event.

Elias Back on Pole in Race 20!

The final race of the weekend saw Seppanen back on pole. The Finn set the fastest and second fastest times in qualifying, landing him the position on the front row, alongside Allen.From the start Allen had the pace and gave the rookie all he had. But Elias didn’t break under the pressure and kept his composure to lead from the first lap.

Elias the Star of the Show in Race 19!

Sneha was on pole in the third race, alongside rookie Muhammad Ibrahim. But the star of the show was Elias who danced past into first by the third corner with Shihab hot on his heels just before the safety car was deployed to recover a beached car at turn three.

Alister blows past for the win in race 18!

Sneha Sharma got a strong start from second on the grid, peaking at the leader, but Alister did one better. The Malaysia blew past into first through the first corner with the mass of cars blocking out the rest of the grid through turn two and three.

The Finn Leads from the First in race 17!

Elias Seppanen blasted off the line in the seventeenth race of the season! The Finn flew away with Yash Aradhya and Lucca Allen just behind him. The Irishman seemed to get a better start than the Indian as they raced through turn 1 and down into the opening lap, Allen was all over the back of Aradhya, but the local racing hero held him at bay. The battle though gave Elias the space he needed to get away from the pack and the Finn started to build a nice lead for himself.

Sky-high expectations as F4 SEA season reaches halfway mark in Madras

MADRAS (9th July 2019) – After four closely-contested rounds, the expectations are running sky high this week as the FIA Formula 4 Championship – fueled by Petron – reaches its halfway mark. Adding to the suspense and anticipation is the fact that this F4 SEA Championship will be making its debut at the Madras Motor Sport Circuit here.

Indian Ibrahim Hopeful of F4SEA Success

Mohammad Ibrahim is a 16-year-old racer from India, who has been fascinated by racing cars since childhood and starting karting in 2017. The youngster, who still has another year to finish at school, achieved 5th place in the world karting grand finals representing India. Mohammad is fully supported and motivated by his family and his goal is to pursue a career as a top race car driver ambassador for India

Aussie Smith Crowned Event 4 Champion

Australian driver Josh Smith’s consistency, mounting the podium in all four races here, assured him the champion’s title for Event 4 of the F4 SEA Championship – fueled by Petron – at the Buriram International Circuit.Smith revelled in a week of highly competitive racing to win Race 2 this morning and finish second in three others. Thanks to his steady performance throughout, Smith secured a total 81 points to secure the title for this round.

Allen blew everyone away in race 16

In today’s fourth and final race, Allen blazed away to the title, completing the 11-laps in a time of 20 minutes 59.814s. Smith was second with Seppanen completing the podium in third. Smith’s time of 21:03.404 left him 3.590 seconds behind the winner. Seppanen, who also had one win so far this season, ended his campaign in a time of 21:03.871.

Shihab makes his way from sixth to the top of the podium in race 15

After missing out on the first two races of the Formula 4 SEA Championship - fueled by Petron - here at the Buriram International Circuit, Omani driver Shihab Al Habsi’s determination and tenacity paid off when he won the third race today.Starting from sixth on the grid, Shihab was a driver on a mission today. After 12 laps, which he completed in 21 minutes 05.783 seconds, Shihab found himself at the top of the podium.

Smith and Muizz clash for Race 14!

In Race 2 staged earlier today, Smith fought off a mighty challenge from Muizz to secure a slim win, crossing the finish 0.344 seconds ahead of this rival.Smith took 21:05.886s to finish the 12-lap race with Muizz clocking 21:06.230. Seppanen was third while Ananthorn was fourth. Shihab, Ali and Alister were next on the list with India's Sneha and Yash taking up the eighth and ninth spots.

Allen Prevails in Thriller, Clips Fifth Win of The F4 Sea Season

BURIRAM (14th June 2019) – Lucca Allen and Shihab Al Habsi tried everything they could to outdo each other in the first race of Round 4 of the Formula 4 SEA Championship – fueled by Petron – at the Buriram International Circuit today. In the end though, it was Irish ace Allen who prevailed in the thriller of a race and claimed his fifth victory of the season.

Thai Karter Tar Joins F4SEA for Buriram Event

15-year-old Anathorn (Tar) has been involved in professional karting in his native Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia since he was nine years old. Supported by his enthusiastic family, who have followed him at every event, Tar has been waiting for the opportunity to transition to Formula 4 since the inauguration of the FIA F4 championship. Finally in 2019 he joined the F4 SEA series at the events on his national circuit in Buriram. Tar now plans an attack on the full 2020 F4 SEA championship with all the passion and resources available to him.

No Holds Barred in Round 4 as Drivers go on the Hunt in Buriram this Week

BURIRAM (11 June 2019) – It will be a no-holds-barred battle for supremacy when Round 4 of the Formula 4 SEA Championship – fueled by Petron – resumes here at the Buriram International Circuit on Friday. After three highly competitive rounds over the last two months, the drivers are primed for an even stronger performance this weekend.

Round 3 of the FIA Formula 4 SEA Championship - fueled by Petron - staged in Buriram last month was a thrilling race weekend. The action was close as the young drivers gave it their all in their quest for success.
